Great idea WWWitton, as long as the pitch is up to it. I will not be taking part, I would probably fall flat on my face with my knees, but I sponosred a cup for the Juniors, I would do ther same for this too, then all the proceeds could go into Club funds.
I have been retired for 8 years now and I can confirm two things; You cannot work out how you found time to go to work and it is wonderful to be TOTALLY in charge of your life, with the wife's permission of course. Read me in the Our Town magazine.
It's a good idea, they used to have the "Kick for cash" at Maine Road at half time, a large yellow hoop suspended from the goal at the north stand end (it was sponsored by the M.E.N and was rolled over if no-one did it). One bloke just in trainers once slipped over with his first kick and totally miss-kicked it, the ball sailed strait through the hoop and he won a large wad very funny.
