As all the info in handbooks etc gives the directions from J16 - not much good from Mid-Cheshire! then this is one I've found. From Davenham the total journey is approx 17 miles.

Hope this helps

Ground: Town Ground
Address: Wood Park
Alsager
Cheshire, ST7 2DP
Telephone: 01270 882336

APPROX 6 MILES FROM THE M6 JUNCTION 17

Turn right onto Old Mill Road (A534) for 1 mile

Turn left onto The Hill (A533) for 2.6 miles

Bear right onto Chells Hill & Sandbach Road North(B5078) for 1.6 miles

Turn left onto The Fairway

Turn left onto Eaton Road

Turn right onto Wilbrahams Way

Continue onto Moorhouse Avenue

Turn left onto West Grove

Turn right onto Woodland Court

HOPEFULLY SHOULD BE A FOOTIE GROUND SOMEWHERE CLOSE BY

Hello to all Witton fans hopefully as many of you can come on Saturday as possible as we need all the support and admissions as possible as following last seasons problems we have nothing and are starting from scratch.
Just a quick one on the directions they are fine if you are coming of M6 AT J17 but be very careful at the Chells Hill turn ,if you have gone correctly you will go under a canal .
Another way you could try would be to come down the A50 from Holmes Chapel to crossroads signpost Kidsgrove left Alsager right (there is a small garden nursery on your left at the lights you will be waiting at)
Turn right down bank past Twyfords factory on your left up bank approx 1 mile when you come to road on your right Shady Grove (there is insurance company Bollington Insurance on the corner) go down Shady Grove to T junction and turn right followed by quick left onto Woodlands Court the ground is between 2 houses looking top right of the cul-de-sac .There is very limited parking at the ground so prob best if you park somewhere on the estate.
Unfortunately like some of your fans with the late booking of the game I am away as well but hopefully you will have a good time but please don't expect too much from us as we really are having to start from scratch .

Raul
If you follow my instructions to the ground at the end of Shady Grove before the T junction The Woodlands Pub is on your left .If we have any fans going they will prob be in here .Also ask Landlord nicely and they may let you park your car their as the ground is only 200yards away.

Solid first performance under Nige Deeley. Squad looks decent, impressed with the new centre half and left back, Willis looks like just the player we need in the middle of the park, and the striker who started the game looked lively. Very promising start, well done Nige
Thinks Pritch's head is upside down!
