Alan aka WHS - this is a really serious matter and no Wittoner should just dismiss what the consequences could be. You seem confused as to why it is on our site but it's mighty big news matey. It ain't a rumour as you'll have probably gathered by now

Thats the only reason I'm interested - the potential for us and how it will affect us in the future.

Well, what a surprise ::)

Must admit 50% of me wants to crack a bottle of bubbly - after all the bile and sh1te they have dished out to us in the past. More recently, after we bailed them out by letting them groundshare, we got nothing but bitter, twisted, snide comments about the facilities. How many times have we had to endure: we've got a better ground, we get bigger crowds, etc. bloody etc.

However, my other 50% really does feel sorry for the genuine green sc*m. They have been well and truly shafted. But, come on, we all saw it coming. The sad fact is that those who saw it coming on the green side of the canal where always put down and ridiculed by the majority of short sighted wanabees.

I agree they should start from scratch, ala Telford. No-one should go within a mile (or at least 800yds) of Conman. Let him stew in his own pink elephant of a stadium with no tennants.

So, NVFC2007, looking for a ground to play at?????

I'm sure one could be found at a VERY reasonable rent!

I realise it is BIG news Chad, but it is taking away interest in our club. What will be in the Guardian this week, our win at Radcliffe or Connett spouting off again?
WHS.
I have been retired for 8 years now and I can confirm two things; You cannot work out how you found time to go to work and it is wonderful to be TOTALLY in charge of your life, with the wife's permission of course. Read me in the Our Town magazine.

Exactly WHS, hence no point in talking to the Guardian again this week!!!

Hold on, I think we've been round this one before!!!

:-)
I saw my mate the other day, he said to me he'd seen the white Pele, so I asked who is he.....?
......he goes by the name of Mike Moseley, Mike Moseley, Mike Moseley, he goes by the name of Mike Moseley!

Mike Y, I would just point out that Manchester United play in Salford, so why wouldn't FC United of Manchester play in Northwich?

Salford is in Greater Manchester,as is Bury, where FC United currently play.
Northwich,if you didnt know,is in Cheshire (not classed as part of Manchester)

Manchester United in Salford? Hmmm, must check my geography.

Speaking as someone who is a big United fan, and one who was born and bred on Cross Lane, Salford. I used to walk to Old Trafford every fortnight, and on my way, I passed a sign saying 'Manchester' about 100 yards before the Trafford swing bridge, which is about a quarter of a mile from the ground. Let's have no more dodgy geography lessons.

If FCUM were to move to Northwich, that would make them even bigger sell outs than the franchise they deserted!! How ironic.........

Theyre not moving to Northwich, how many times does it have to be said. This topic has only ever been discussed on here, never on vics' forum and never on FCs forum.Where do you get these ideas from??
