A high ball into the penalty area for the visitors on 68 minutes sees David Norris climb above Danny McKenna but his header is saved by Chris Renshaw in the Albion goal.

A pretty poor display, not much heart or skill on show! We need to bolster our squad urgently and get Foley and Smart back playing and drop this daft 5 at the back! I quite like the shape but only if you have players who can play it plus, we cannot afford to take Goulding out of the midfield. Things need to change PDQ or we will be sucked into the basement.

Last three games at home beaten at best by three hard working teams and to be honest, I don’t think we can complain about any of the results. Why we insist on playing the long high ball when we have no one who can head a football puzzles me. How we miss Rob Hopley.

I agree not much skill on show & some lads last night were lacking the required effort, Anson, Goulding & Wardle possibly Short the only ones who never gave up. The club now need to back the manager at least 1 forward a right back for young Byrne to learn off & an attacking midfielder all needed asap.
