Stalybridge Celtic Youth completed their third victory of the season over Witton Albion's Youth team on Sunday afternoon, when they met in the North West Youth Alliance President's Cup at Stockport Sports Village.
Celtic had already beaten Albion twice in the league earlier in the campaign so, this was always going to be a tough assignment for the Witton youngsters.
Tailing 2-1 at half time to goals from Celtic's Jack Hindle on 31 minutes and Daniel South four minutes later. Although still in the game by way of their first half goal - scorer unknown, it was going to take a monumental effort to turn the score around and when Daniel South added his second of the afternoon on 47 minutes, the game went away from Albion.
Stalybridge substitute Jack Wray completed the scoring on 58 minutes and Witton's cup involvement was over for another year.
