Witton Albion Youth Team travel to Morecambe on Sunday afternoon in a North West Youth Alliance fixture. The game gives the youths the opportunity to build on their steady start to the season and hopefully, pick up more points as the campaign gathers pace. It also allows them to get more game time following last weekend's break from competitive football. The Shrimps have the added advantage of being part of a professional set-up and have full time training and facilities at their disposal. Witton go into the fixture five points behind their opponents but have three games in hand so anything they can pick up from this encounter will benefit them greatly, as well as allowing them the experience of competing against full-time opposition. The game is being played at The Lancaster & Morecambe College with a 2.30pm kick off.

Witton Albion Youth Team went down to a disappointing defeat against Morecambe on Sunday afternoon. Things began well for the lads and they took the lead in the first half, courtesy of captain Ronan Eves headed goal - his second in successive games. Unfortunately, they lost their way somewhat and conceded four as the hosts ran out convincing winners in the end.
