WHEELS created the topic: Witton Albion vs Nantwich Town.
Witton welcome Cheshire neighbours and rivals Nantwich Town to The NetDec Stadium on Saturday afternoon in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. Albion will be glad to get back to playing football again following the two-week break since their last game against Ashton United and will also look to begin another winning run against very difficult opponents. The Dabbers have found some form since the turn of the year, winning five of their last six games. The only blemish on their record in that time being a heavy defeat at home to Hednesford Town. The upturn in form has coincided with a huge contribution from forward Sean Cooke, who has netted five times in the last three games and helped them to climb away from the relegation zone to sixteenth in the table. The break will hopefully have helped Witton to get some of their injured players closer to fitness in preparation for the coming games. The fixture represents the third meeting between the two clubs this season, one win apiece from the previous two encounters both of which produced goals. Nantwich go into the game looking to complete the double following their success at Weaver Stadium earlier in the season, a game played in very difficult conditions on the day. Witton will look to continue their progress towards the play offs but Nantwich will provide a difficult test and anything will need to be earned if Albion are to get the right result. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.
