For Danny..

I wasn't going to rise to a reply but here goes..

"eddiec u seem talking about ex players and the past to be so beneficial u do that."

WHAT? TRY IN ENGLISH

"It will do wonders 4 this club im sure."

YOU JUST DON'T DO SARCASM DO YOU?

"U wud rather talk about them than the lads that r gone than those that are here working their balls off trying to achieve what the team of last year didnt and take us up."

HOW DO YOU ARRIVE AT THAT OUTSTANDING ASSUMPTION?

"Im sure your one of these who believes they can only achieve mid table finish, writing them off before theyve had chance to prove themselves."

..AND NOW YOU HAVE TAKEN UP MIND-READING! AMAZING!

As I said before, if you don't want to read about ex-players, don't look at the topic - simple!

Re:Former Players 10 years 9 months ago #141

he played right back for us last year, not a bad full back really. he left us in summer to sign for droylsden, when we at witton had a bit of a hicup with the chairman and manager. hope that helps.

Confirmed onHalifax site, a 1 month loan.

He's certainly making steady progress up the football ladder...

Interesting quotes from the Halifax forum

Erm!!!!!

Are we following in Crawleys footsteps?.. ..they signed a few of our players and Vince is signing Witton players

Does that make us Witton MK2

No Crawley signed some of our better players, surely these aren't Witton's creme de la creme.

HMMM, who next, my money's on Brown and Brownhill, in that order.

I will disagree with your order... Brownhill first.

Re:Former Players 10 years 9 months ago #148

yep, sorry he must be taking them sequentially,

1. JK, 2. CC, 3. LB, 4. NO CHANCEB) 5. TB, 6. AB, 7. JB, 8. RL, 11, AM.

He's only missing Warlow and peers at 9 & 10.

There was some other interesting quotes from JV himself a while back reckoning that it "was an unhappy dressing room at the moment and it needed to be sorted", what better way to sort it than filling it full of yes men.

Nice to see Tony Jarvis watching the game today. For those who don't go back that far, he was in our promotion winning team to the Conference in 1991. (I am not sure, but he may have scored the final goal at the Central Ground....I'm sure Chad will correct me if I'm wrong). One of todays' officials was his nephew.
