There was supposed to be an announcement prior to tonight's game. Andrew Simpson posted on Twitter earlier that he knew who it was but was not announcing anything until the league had confirmed everything.
Good to hear. Crump was massive, but amazingly not good with high balls.
I have been retired for 8 years now and I can confirm two things; You cannot work out how you found time to go to work and it is wonderful to be TOTALLY in charge of your life, with the wife's permission of course. Read me in the Our Town magazine.
Thought Carl was harsh getting rid of Crump, I thought he did a fair job to stand in against some tough teams.
Don't know what his infatuation is with keepers, we've had so many in the last few weeks. Just stick with one until our keeper is back. Sure it's gotta be unsettling for the lads to have a different keeper in the net all the time.
doesn't seem to have been much of an unsettling effect so far this season. Carl is the boss and Im sure he discussed the goalie situation with his staff. Danny does seem to take a while over injuries so getting the right replacement if and when they become available must be hard.
I have no idea what I am doing. But incompetence has never prevented me from plunging in with enthusiasm."
I agree was quite happy with Ryan Crump, a couple of mistakes but some very good stuff also, however I will trust Carl and the team to get it right, although I would like to See Danny back sooner rather than later. UTA
Yes he does seem to take a while to recover from injury. I read the piece in the Northwich guardian where it said he isn't back in training yet but from speaking to one of the lads there hasn't been any training for a number of weeks due to matches on a tue and whatever on a Thursday. We've also got 3 matches a week ahead of us so who knows when he can get back training
Credit to the resilience of the lads this season, they've been a joy to watch. Let's hope we can get more of the fans back
