Morning all, less than a month to go now before we do "The Walk" so anyone requiring a sponsorship form contact me as soon as poss.
Hoping to leave "The Morg" as was at around 8.30-9ish and trek up through Winnington and Barnton to join the Canal at Holehouse Lane.
Follow the Canal to the Tunnel Top at Dutton, there is a café about halfway along for a brew etc.
Stop for lunch(Carlings!) at the Tunnel Top Pub then stroll on to Runcorn Linnets ground for kick off, if you want to pre-order lunch (or Carlings!) at the pub there number is 01928718181.
For anyone requiring transport back please also let me know as soon as poss as Crouchy is organising the return travel.
Weve got 27 "Willing Wittoners" so far, probably the biggest footballing crowd to pass through Barnton this season?

And like you they are only passing through probably!
WHS.

I have been retired for 8 years now and I can confirm two things; You cannot work out how you found time to go to work and it is wonderful to be TOTALLY in charge of your life, with the wife's permission of course. Read me in the Our Town magazine.

Yep? The tony Waterman walk is for the Joshua tree charity with any sponsorship money going wholey to the charity and Runcorn are not obliged to admit walkers from witton, if you want transport back to northwich, you'll have to pay for that too, unless crouches feeling unusually generous, I might treat you to a carling at the tunnel top though! See you all Saturday morning walkers!
