Wooohoooo what a win ! If you stayed at home to watch the rugby or were put off by the weather then unlucky you - you missed a treat !! OK so lets start with the obvious. When you win 4 nil, its no fluke, but Shaw Lane can't have been so soundly beaten by any team over the past couple of years as they were today. This could easily have been double the score and you could argue that it was 4-0 despite the referee and officials, who at times were dreadful. The stonewall penalty for Tom Owens in the first couple of minutes being an obvious one. Man of the match? Too many to mention. Play offs? Don't bet against these boys on this form. The team is well and truly back
A very exciting afternoon in spite of dreadful weather . We were dominant in every department .as Knutsfordian says those who stayed at home missed a treat and marvelous football by The Mighty Albs .In reality the score could have easily been 8-0 . Wonderful display and I must add I thought Shaw Lane were bad losers . UTA
Attendance 201 which is shocking . we are climbing up the ladder and hope to be in play off position .What more does the team ,the officials and the invaluable volunteers have to do get the lapsed Wittoners back ? Come on.
